The 17th annual City of Oaks Marathon will take place on November 5, 2023.
Raleigh, NC May 2, 2023 — The City of Oaks Marathon is pleased to announce Martin Marietta as the Title Sponsor of the newly branded Martin Marietta City of Oaks Marathon. Set to take place November 5, 2023, the race takes place in the heart of downtown Raleigh and includes marathon, half marathon, 10K and 5K races. In 2022, City of Oaks attracted nearly 6,000 participants.

Girls on the Run Triangle positively impacts and inspires thousands of young girls to be joyful, healthy, and confident using a fun, experience-based curriculum that creatively integrates running and physical activity. With the help of trained, caring, and qualified coaches, girls learn critical life skills and even contribute to the community through a service project.
The 2023 Martin Marietta City of Oaks Marathon will start and finish in the Glenwood South area and features a post-race party with live music in Raleigh’s own Smoky Hollow.
