October 20, 2022 – VIRGINIA BEACH, VIRGINIA – J&A Racing is excited to announce new growth and opportunities amongst its staff. Ahead of a busy race season, J&A Racing has added some exceptional talent to an already well-respected roster of employees.
Jamie Rhoades has taken over as Director of Partnerships, managing both the existing portfolio of sponsors as well as evaluating new opportunities with potential new clients. With a background in health and wellness, as well as an extensive history in sales, she is a great addition to the team, and looks forward to thinking of new ways for partners to activate and engage with race participants.
James Bryan has also joined J&A Racing as the Director of Marketing and Communication. As an athlete himself, James recognizes the importance of clear (and creative) communication for everyone involved with J&A Racing events. Whether it is supporting various community efforts, or communicating directly with race participants, James is excited to add his flavor to all communication and add a new level of excitement to the marketing department.
Pete Hansen joins the team as Director of Community Engagement and Activation. In this role, he will manage all relationships surrounding community involvement, including partnerships with local run clubs, volunteer recruitment and neighborhood awareness. Additionally, he will design and manage all the on-course activations and entertainment, along with the legendary post-race celebrations that J&A Racing is known for. With a background in entertainment, Pete is a perfect fit for this position and has fantastic things planned for the 2022-2023 race season.
J&A Racing has a busy race season ahead, with the Old Point National Bank Wicked Weekend presented by Bon Secours approaching on October 28-29, 2022.
