Expo open to public and features screenings, games and merchandise; race packet pickup
CLEVELAND – (May 16) — The Union Home Mortgage Cleveland Marathon announced today details of its Health and Fitness Expo presented by University Hospitals. Taking place at the Huntington Convention Center in downtown Cleveland, the expo features race information, sponsors, screenings, apparel, other vendors and more. The expo is free and open to the public; you do not need to participate in any race to attend, so friends and family are encouraged to take part.
“There’s nothing quite like being on the floor of the expo in the days leading up to the race. The level of excitement is about as close as you can get to the start line without having a bib,” said Race Director Ralph Staph. “There are a ton of amazing vendors and health and fitness information this year. It is really an event all by itself.”
The Union Home Mortgage Cleveland Marathon Health and Fitness Expo presented by University Hospitals is located inside the Huntington Convention Center, 300 Lakeside Avenue East, in Hall A. The expo will be open:
Friday, May 19, 12:00pm – 6:00pm
Saturday, May 20, 9:00am – 6:00pm
Highlights of the Health and Fitness Expo include:
Free health screenings by professionals from University Hospitals
· Beer sampling from Fathead’s Brewery
· Official merchandise sales featuring Fleet Feet and Shakeout
· Games for the family, including corn hole, Jenga, and a giant Connect 4; also, a free photo booth from Union Home Mortgage with fun props to commemorate the weekend
Packet pickup for 5K, 10K and Challenge Series participants will occur on Friday, May 19. Packets for the full and half marathon can be picked up on either Friday or Saturday, May 20. There is no race day packet pickup on Saturday, May 20 or Sunday, May 21.
To pick up packets and other race materials, participants should have their Race Roster Confirmation Page, including their unique QR code, ready via phone or printed copy. Participants can also access their confirmation information by logging into the Race Roster Dashboard and clicking “Confirmation Number” at the top of the page. Third party pickup is permitted, but the person must have a copy of the participant’s Race Roster information.
