Running USA is the final planning stages of the 2022 Industry Conference, set for Feb. 20-22 at the Coronado Springs Resort in Orlando, Florida.

We look forward to welcoming you back to an engaging event, and want to assure our attendees, as well as those who have yet to register, that we are working to make sure the Conference is safe for all, especially given current concerns around the latest pandemic surge. Running USA is adhering to current CDC quarantine guidelines for the event.

Before you arrive in Florida: Pre-travel Covid testing is strongly encouraged. If you are feeling ill or believe you may have been exposed to someone who is ill, please take every precaution to protect yourself and others. If you cannot attend the event due to compliance with CDC guidelines, reach out to Running USA for next steps.

On site at the event:  If current Walt Disney World protocols are still in place at the time of the conference, attendees will be wearing masks throughout the event. Face coverings are required in all indoor settings, regardless of vaccination status. Masks will be optional in outdoor areas including during the morning runs. For the most up to date information, we encourage you to check the Disney Know Before You Go Document.

Where to find a rapid PCR test near the conference: Numerous locations for testing are available within a short drive/Uber from the event. The closest include:

Community testing center: https://www.patientportalfl.com/s/?language=en_US

Center for Covid Control: https://www.centerforcovidcontrol.org/

Onsite protocol for Running USA staff: Running USA team members will be testing daily for Covid before traveling to and while attending the event and reporting their results to leadership.

Tests available for attendees: If you are attending the event and staying at the Coronado Springs Resort, a limited number of rapid result tests will be available to be delivered to your room if you are experiencing Covid symptoms. To request a test, do not leave your room, but please fill out this form.

After the event: We encourage all attendees to honor a self-reporting standard. If you test positive for Covid within 72 hours after leaving the conference, we respectfully request you to notify us so that we can notify other attendees. Personal identification information will remain anonymous.

Vaccinations: Running USA encourages you to protect yourself and others if you are not already fully immunized.

Important tip: Most if not all questions about Disney’s protocols can be answered in the Know Before You Go document, so we encourage you to check it out before traveling to Florida.

Please note that any of the above is subject to change as the conference approaches, and we will update attendees frequently with any new information.

Thank you for your patience and support of the 2022 Industry Conference. We are very much looking forward to seeing you soon!
