The Goodyear Half Marathon & 10k is the second event in the series, and participants will travel through Akron’s East End, explore Goodyear’s campus, and take a lap around the test track at the closed-to-the-public Akron Proving Grounds before their finish under the skywalk at Goodyear’s Global Headquarters.
During the marquee race and final event of the Akron Marathon Race Series presented by Summa Health, the FirstEnergy Akron Marathon, Half Marathon, & Team Relay runners will follow the blue line through 11 Akron neighborhoods, beginning in downtown Akron next to the Akron Art Museum and, for the first time, ending at downtown Akron’s Lock 3.
