Course Record broken in Men’s Half Marathon
(Fort Worth, Texas) – This weekend marked the 44th running of The Cowtown, the largest multi-event road race in North Texas, with some 8,000 running the Half-Marathon, Marathon, Miller Lite Ultra Marathon and Higginbotham Healthy Hig Marathon Relay races in person. Some 406 others registered to race the marathon distances virtually.
Daniel Kemoi of Coon Rapids, MN, 35, set a record time in the half marathon with an unofficial time of 1:04.15, besting the previous 2017 record of 1:04.23.
To maintain a safe environment for our youth, the Kids 5K (presented by Academy Sports + Outdoors) will be run segmented by school, taking place throughout March, April and May in the Fort Worth Botanical Gardens as well as at several school locations.
